The Blue Lodge is an eco-friendly holiday home suitable for approximately 8 people with a spacious garden located on the water of a nature reserve. Situated on the edge of the cosy and watery Elfsteden town of Stavoren and near the IJsselmeer.

Blue it is! This is reflected in the interior of the house, with blue wooden decking and light blue walls.
The living area has an open-plan kitchen, equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, oven, freezer, nespresso machine, microwave and kettle. The dining area has a sofa and single chairs. You can watch TV from both the dining area and the lounge sofa, and there is also a view of the cosy wood-burning stove. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The living area is wonderfully bright partly because of the spacious conservatory, which has storage doors to the garden with decking both directly behind the house and on the waterfront. From the waterfront deck, there is a distant view of the neighbouring village of Warns.
The holiday home has four bedrooms upstairs. Two rooms have a double bed and wardrobe and each has a small balcony. There is also a bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together if desired. Finally, upstairs there is a bedroom with a bunk bed. There is also a bathroom on the floor, with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.
There is also a room on the ground floor with two separate box-spring beds in an L-shaped arrangement. This room is extremely suitable for people who do not wish to use stairs, as there is also a bathroom downstairs with shower and washbasin. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. Behind sliding doors in the (bed) room on the ground floor are also the washing machine and dryer.
In total, there are 10 sleeping places, however, we think the holiday home is more suitable for a maximum of 8 people because the holiday home is not a group accommodation with a large kitchen. Moreover, not everyone likes to sleep in bunk beds. With 8 people, this is therefore a choice.
The room offers nice views of the garden and the water behind. This (sleeping) room on the ground floor can also be used as a pantry/storage room, depending on the group composition. Due to the width of the corridor towards the bathroom, the room is unfortunately not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
The shed at the front of the house can be used to store bicycles, for example. Here you can also find the wood for stoking the wood-burning stove.
The bedrooms and their layout make the Blue Lodge ideal for two or more families, with or without grandparents (room downstairs). Or for three or four couples, for example, who like quiet and natural surroundings. Because of its location, the Blue Lodge is not rented out to young people and is not suitable for (garden) parties.
The sunny, spacious and private back garden (plot size 500m2) is accessible via the living room and via the right side garden. There is also a trampoline (use at your own risk) and BBQ here. You can swim at the nearby swimming beach on the IJsselmeer.
The Blue lodge has three parking spaces right by the holiday home. Any other cars can be parked in the general car park right after the turn-off towards the 'Iguanas of Stavoren'.
