Luxury apartment on the water in De Alde Feanen National Park

A spacious and attractive luxury apartment on the water, in the middle of the Alde Feanen National Park. The apartment has its own theme: "Sailing" and is therefore called 'the sailing house'. In the apartment you can find all kinds of attributes that relate to this theme. The living room (65 m2) is decoratively covered with sails, a bar made of an old wooden sailboat and the large table used to serve as a sword of a flat-bottomed boat. There is also a robust wood-burning stove. Through the patio doors you reach the terrace where in the summer there is an attractive stretch tent with lounge chairs.
At the rear is a large bar table with a view of the water and a hot tub for 4 people. At the jetty on the water is a poly-falcon that belongs to the house and can be used at all times, provided the captain is an experienced sailor. There is also an optimist available for free for the young sailors.

An ideal house for one or more families or a group of friends.

The spacious kitchen is also located on the ground floor. Here you will find a cooking island, several refrigerators and freezer compartment, large pantry, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker. Everything you need to prepare and eat a meal.

On the top floor you will find 4 bedrooms, the toilets (2) and the showers (6). All bedrooms have a double bed and an extra bed or bunk bed. The master bedroom has a spacious balcony.

Electric sloops, canoes or extra sailing boats can easily be rented from us.
The sailing house is located on the water in De Alde Feanen National Park, near the village of Earnewâld (Eernewoude). Beautiful routes for sailing with an e-sloop, sup, canoe, these can be rented at the location. In addition to sailing routes, there are also beautiful hiking routes that start 150 meters from the house and it is a wonderful environment for cycling, for example the cycling route known as "the 8 van Grou". There is a bicycle rental in the village.

In the village there is a supermarket, several restaurants and terraces on the water, two museums (the Skûtsje museum and the Kokelhûs). The beautiful capital of Friesland “Leeuwarden” is only a 15 minute drive away. In 2018, Leeuwarden was nominated the European Capital of Culture.
