Kunstruimte H47 is the gallery hosting exhibits of contemporary visual arts located in the city centre of Leeuwarden.
Kunstruimte H47 is established in 2018, the year in which Leeuwarden was ‘European Capital of Europe’. The township of Leeuwarden, inhabitants and several local cultural institutions wanted an open platform for contemporary visual arts, leading to the founding of Kunstruimte H47.
Target of Kunstruimte H47 is to stimulate and facilitate visual arts in the city of Leeuwarden and the surrounding area.
Organizations hosting the gallery: Kunstinitiatief VHDG, graphic studio Grafisch Atelier Friesland and the artists working in the Hania Courts.
