This Doerak, located in De Veenhoop, offers an ideal starting point for trips to the Alde Feanen, Grou, Terherne and De Leijen. The ship is known for its excellent comfort, both inside and outside, and stands out because of its unique appearance. The saloon has a double bed and 2 sofas that can be converted into single beds, while the aft cabin has two single beds. With the heater present, sailing in spring or autumn is comfortable.
Location
Familieboten is a collaboration of various boat owners who rent out their boats to other interested parties during the periods that they are not using them. The boats have various permanent moorings, spread over almost all of Southwest Friesland.
Important to know
Renters with some sailing experience are welcome; pets and smoking are not allowed. Extensive instruction on the operation of the ship is given and valuable sailing tips are available thanks to years of experience on the Frisian waters.
