Feel right at home in one of the chalets at the Markestee. With a fixed awning and terrace accessible through French doors, the accommodation offers plenty of space. There are three bedrooms available: one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and a third room with a bunk bed.
Location
The Markestee is a residential accommodation on the border between Friesland and Overijssel and is located near the nature reserve Weerribben and De Rottige Meente. The village of Oldemarkt (in Overijssel) is located 1.5 kilometers away, here you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, drugstore and clothing. Lemmer can be reached by car in half an hour and the Eleven Cities towns of Sloten and Sneek can both be reached within 45 minutes. The Weerribben National Park can also be reached within 15 minutes. At 20 minutes you will find 'The Colonies of Benevolence' declared a Unesco World Heritage Site and Pantropica (formerly the orchid farm), both highly recommended to visit. From our location you can reach three provinces within 25 kilometers, enough choice to entertain you regardless of the weather!
Important to know
The chalets are not directly accessible by car. A handcart is available to transport your luggage. The distance from the parking lot to the chalet is approximately 100 meters.
