De Vijf Sinnen is situated in Weidum, around 8 km to the south of Leeuwarden, amongst the rolling countryside. The kitchen works only with seasonal products, and the menu changes each month to accommodate seasonal produce, and there's a large focus on regional specialities and vegetarian cuisine.
De Vijf Sinnen has its own car-park, and is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00. The team at De Vijf Sinnen are led by maitre'd Daniëlle Buijs, whils the large bar and open kitchen make the restaurant extra-homely. We have a modern dining room, which is also suitable for meetings, conferences, courses; receptions, dinners, and other celebrations. Aside from our dining room, we also have a south-facing terrace.
