80 years of freedom
In 2025, it will be 80 years since the liberation of the Netherlands. In honour of this anniversary, the Fries Museum is showing a probing look at the consequences of the air war in Fryslân during World War II. With a focus on penetrating stories and personal objects, IMPACT takes visitors into the experiences of airmen, civilians, salvagers and relatives. This exhibition was created in cooperation with the Missing Airmen Memorial Foundation (SMAMF).
