Free evening opening of the Pier Pander Museum and Pier Pander Temple. With special glow in the dark lighting, guided tours of the museum and temple and a special boat ride between the Pier Pander Museum and the Pier Pander Temple. Stichting Praamvaren (The Praamvaren Foundation) will provide free boat rides and lighting designer Koos de Vries will provide attractive lighting.
Programme:
A guided tour of the Pier Pander Museum will start at 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
After the tour of the museum, the group will take the pirogue to the temple where the tour will resume. In total, this tour lasts about an hour.
Between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm, there are free boat rides between the museum and the temple.
Every thirty minutes and hour, a boat leaves from the museum to the temple.
At a quarter past and quarter to, the boat sails from the temple to the museum.
Throughout the evening, a guide will be present at the temple to tell the story about this special little building.
Museum and temple and the route between the two locations will be attractively lit.
