Your adventure begins relaxed at our starting location in Rijs, where you will be welcomed with a cup of coffee or tea. We will go through the route options together. There are two beautiful routes that you can shorten or extend. This is your day – you determine the pace and distance, without any pressure to perform.
After the explanation, you will receive everything you need: a sturdy bag with your packraft, paddles and a route map. You will also receive a well-stocked all-in food box, so that you can enjoy delicious snacks and a tasty lunch along the way. The free Woodsteps water bottle, filled with fresh water, ensures that you always stay hydrated.
While you take a break at a beautiful spot, you can scroll through the Gaasterland E-Magazine. Here you will find fun facts about the area, local tips and hidden gems that are worth discovering. This way, your trip will not only be relaxing, but also inspiring.
