Operating since 1990, Gallery Hoogenbosch is located in a former school building. Our Gallery has over 300 square meters of exhibition space with a section of Asian and tribal art from South-East Asia, Indonesia and Oceania as well as a section of contemporary art. ASIAN- AND TRIBAL ART We specialize in authentic arts and artifacts such as statues, masks, jewelry and utensils from China, Oceania, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Nagaland, Thailand, Indochina and the Himalayas. These objects have mainly been acquired during our trips to these countries and areas. CONTEMPORARY ART In our contemporary art-department, with about seven varying exhibitions a year, we display work of prominent artists who do not represent a certain movement, but can best be characterized as "individualists". Our large stock contains not only artists of the gallery but also an interesting collection of 20th century art. MODERN JEWELRY Besides contemporary art and tribal art gallery Hoogenbosch have since August 2012 a department of modern jewelry. We want to provide an overview of developments in the field of contemporary jewelry design. In the fixed stock you will find works of nationally and internationally renowned designers, the gallery also organizes 6x a year a solo presentation.
