Kuiertocht Workum
Workum is a characteristic town, and you'll be amazed as you stroll along the old houses here. This walking tour takes you from the center to the outskirts. The path Tillefonne leads you over various bridges and narrow paths through the meadows back and forth to the city center. You can hardly imagine a more beautiful entrance.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje". You can easily combine a leisurely stroll with an activity in the area, or choose to embark on another leisurely stroll. An overview of all leisurely strolls can be found here.
Please note: because you walk through farmers' fields, dogs are unfortunately not allowed on this walking path (from node 65 to 64).
Tip: You can easily reach this route by train. The Workum train station is located one kilometer from the starting point.
