And in the autumn, it's bustling again with overwintering geese, including the Pink-footed goose. From the birdwatching hut near the railway, you have a beautiful view of the birds.

The bell tower of Idzega is also a beautiful place to pause. And in the village of Oudega SWF, there is a village shop and catering. You can park easily at the village hall It Joo.

Ankertsjerke Oudega SWF

Central in the originally medieval water village of Oudega, you will find the Ankertsjerke. Situated on a small enclosed cemetery right along the east-west axis along which the village originated. A lush ivy adorns the south facade in a thick green coat.

Idzega Bell Tower

The distinctive bell tower in the village of Idzega has a red ironwood frame and a saddle roof. It was built in place of the church when the church was demolished.
